The Red Balloon

Today Graham and I spent some time exploring Grand Avenue in St. Paul with my Mom. Since the weather is absolutely beautiful today, after we had lunch, we took the opportunity to be outside and visit some of the cute stores! Graham's favorite stop of the day was "The Red Balloon"- an adorable children's book store. He did attempt to climb the shelves but luckily I was able to redirect him before any of the workers noticed my son standing amongst their books! Instead, Graham decided it would be fun to pull books off the shelves and laugh at himself when they hit the ground. Yes, this did make for quite the mess, but reshelving them is a small price to pay for the fun Graham had. Whether he's throwing them, paging through them, or patiently listening to me read "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" for the tenth time in a day, Graham is really starting to enjoy his books!

Graham LOVES balloons! I think that each time I want to shop, Graham will get a balloon tied to his wrist. If he's got a balloon, he's a great shopper!
