When we started our day today, I expected to run a few errands and have a quiet afternoon at home. Thinking that there wouldn't be any photo op's at Babies R Us or the grocery store, I left my camera at home. As the afternoon progressed though, and we ended up visiting Uncle Peter, I was regretting not throwing the camera into my diaper bag. Graham had a great afternoon hanging out at Uncle Peter and Auntie Lynn's house. What isn't to like about a house that has a turtle, a few fish (for the turtle to eat), a large variety of flying toys, and a giant exercise ball that makes a great toy! Graham even got to go out for dinner tonight and like usual was pleased to see a cheeseburger...one of his favorite foods that is occasionally placed in front of him! Tomorrow, I'll remember my camera!
When we got home this evening, I was so excited to see that Graham's certified final adoption decree arrived in the mail. Though this piece of paper changes nothing in our house, after all, Graham was 100% adopted into our hearts the moment we first laid eyes on him, it's still nice to have this official piece of paper and be officially DONE!!!!! We still have some paperwork to fill out to get his social security number, and certificate of citizenship, but anything adoption related is done, done, done!!! WOO HOO!!!!
