Windy Walk

I was a little ambitious this morning as I started out for our three mile trek. The snow is melting very quickly so I assumed that it was warm out....not really. The temperature may have been 40, but when the wind got going, it was downright cold! Luckily, Graham was a good sport and seemed content all bundled up in his stroller. His contentment turned to excitement though when I handed him a few pine cones that I picked up from the trail. These pine cones bring new meaning to the term "natural toys". Graham's pine cones are definitely not made in China and definitely contain no lead! Could there be a better toy? He really loves anything to do with nature-leaves, trees, grass, and even bugs, especially bugs-the bigger the better! Yes, I cringe at the thought that I'll probably have to buy a little cage for him to keep his bugs in this summer. Who would have thought....me and bugs?!?!?!?!
